I took delivery of a new XPS 9550 with windows 10 several days ago and everything worked perfectly out of the box. On Dec. 25th, I accepted a Dell update and immediately after, the windows taskbar froze up. I have performed all of the fixes I can find online including running scannow, restore health, doing an app refresh, replaced the TitleDataLayer file and scanned with Support Assist with no issues uncovered. I have also installed Windows update 1511. I have created another user account and the taskbar works there. However, I do not want to have to move all of my files again to this new account. Any suggestions would be appreciated !!
