Win 10 - no drivers for Inspiron 5520

I agree with you all who are disappointed with Dell for not supporting our only 3-year-old laptops with new drivers for Win 10. I was happy to upgrade from 8.1 to 10 as soon as I could, as I have never been happy with Win 8 or 8.1; each time there was an update, I wondered what else would stop working and how much time I was going to have to spend with Microsoft support.

So, so happy with Win 10, no problems with installation or losing anything I had before. In fact, most everything seems to be running better! After about a month, I began to have problems with start-up, just getting a pale gray screen instead of the dark gray with the Dell logo. If I did a hard shut-down and restarted it would work. Computer geek at work told me it was a driver problem and I should go to Dell for updates. Tried that, no dice.

This weekend, it has taken several tries to get my computer to go all the way through start-up and now I'm afraid to shut it down. Probably will have to go back to Win 8.1. :(

Until now, I've been happy with this laptop (well, other than Win 8.1, but that's not Dell's fault) and even successfully replaced a broken screen. Wow, was that easy!

If this is how Dell supports its products, it doesn't care about customer retention, so I don't care about buying another Dell.
