I've just upgraded from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro and now my Wi-Fi doesn't want to work.
I know that Dell doesn't want to support my device under Windows 10 but I was hoping that someone in this forum might have an answer or work around.
I have a Intel(r) Centrino (r) Advanced-N 6250 AGN (Driver Version 15.12.0.8, Driver Date: 11/17/2014) listed in the Device Manager of Windows 10 under "Network Adapters". The device is ENABLED and I've checked for any available driver updates but found none.
One thing that I noticed is that in the "Events" section of the driver properties there is the following:
"Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0087&SUBSYS_13218086&REV_35\4&31b1c3fe&0&00E1 requires further installation."
What further installation? What else needs to happen? I just upgraded the laptop using the Windows 10 Upgrade procedure and would expect everything that was working before the upgrade to work after the upgrade.
Will the Windows 7 drivers for this work under Windows 10? Any help is appreciated since I'm now limited to using my Ethernet connection to get to the internet or my LAN.
