Microsoft assured me that my Windows 7 laptop (Latitude E6510) was ready to upgrade to Windows 10. In a way, it was... but only after I upgraded did I see Dell's caution that this model was not verified to work 100% with Windows 10.
Almost everything works (sound didn't work initially, but I found a fix online that helped), but clearly new drivers are required which recognize and drive the PC Card reader, the SD card reader, and even the CD/DVD drive. The CD drive won't even open when pressed, nor is it recognized as a drive by Windows 10.
Yes, these inputs can all be accessed via external USB drives, but please provide new drivers, Dell. For those with this model on the fence about upgrading, determine how much you need these built-in readers/drive!
