My 3650 came with Win 7 Pro installed and with a Win 10 installation disk. I have installed a 120GB SSD and migrated win 7 to it. On my primary computer (i7, Asus mobo, 32GB ram) I had 2 SSDs, one booting Win 7 Pro from an EVO 250GB and a second 120 GB booting Win 10. I bought a second EVO 250 for my primary system and cloned the 120 GB SSD to it. I then moved the old 120 SSD to the Dell intending to do a clean install of Win 10 from the CD that came with the 3650 and have a similar dual boot setup. I hooked up the 2nd SSD in the Dell which still had my old Win 10 installation on it and it booted right up. That was great since my goal was to make the Dell a clone of my other computer and take it up to my other house and link up both using a WD cloud drive. Instead of having to reinstall all of my software I just had to reactivate a few and I had a system with all of my personal settings. Unfortunately after a few days Win 10 wants a new product code since the current installation has the same code as my primary computer. I inserted the Win 10 CD in the drive but it doesn't autorun probably because it doesn't recognize the installation as a Dell Win 7 setup.
Is there any way to extract the Win 10 product code from the supplied CD without having to do a full install or to get the install disk to run on my existing Win 10 SSD?
