Hi everyone. Both me & my mother have the above mentioned laptop in which was bought in 2014. At the time we had Windows 8.1 & last year we both upgraded to Windows 10. On my laptop I've had no issues at all but, unfortunately my mother has had some issues. It's very bizarre as we both have the exact same laptops. I had problems in attempting to reboot her laptop but, unfortunately it froze for hours. I contacted MS but, the advice they gave me did not work so I contacted Dell directly by telephone & I was told to go back to Windows 8/8.1 & reboot from there...again nothing happened it went straight back to Windows 10. Not too sure what to do & I have to say I am disappointed with both Dell & Microsoft for not offering concrete advice. I am now feeling quite stressed out about this because I want to sort out my mothers laptop asap & and also there's files of hers that are saved on a flash drive in which we cannot load onto her laptop until we can reboot it. Because also what I also want to do is just set the laptop only to her gmail account rather than both gmail & outlook like mine & my fathers. Can someone please help me with this issue so I can give my mother peace of mind with her laptop. Thank you!
