Bought Inspiron 5547 in June 2014. I believe it came with Windows 8.1. Installed Windows 10 in Aug 2015. Had no problems until Oct 2015. First got "Driver_Power_State_Failure" error. But laptop booted up after a few tries. Removed problem drivers and updated drivers. But now it doesn't boot. Dell logo appears but nothing else. If I tap keys immediately after pressing power, I can get blue bar to appear, as well as options for F2 (Setup) and F12 (Boot options). Ran diagnostics but no problems identified. Can't find option to start in safe mode. Every once in a while (maybe 1 out of 50 tries), Dell logo will appear followed by "Preparing automatic repairs", but then it freezes. Lots of family photos on this laptop, would hate to lose them. Any suggestions? I'm a pretty novice user so simple language/instructions please! :) Thanks!
