My WiFi Router not detected while my neighbor's are dispayed

Hi

I have Dell Inspiron 15R laptop, running windows 10 64bit.

It has a peculiar problem, it doesnt always detect my wifi router (D Link 2750u dual antenna). Sometimes it shows my router, sometimes it doesnt. Its always hit or miss. Evenif I choose "connect automatically" option it doesnt always connect to my router on reboot or turning on.

At the same time it shows me other routers in vicinity but just not my router. My router works fine too because more than 3 cellphones are connected to it and it occassionally connects to laptop too.

This problem has been persisting since windows 7 (from past 1 year almost)

Is it hardware problem or driver problem ? how to work around it

P.S. I had broadcom virtual wireless adapter but it was incompatible with win10 and was hampering the upgrade so I disabled it and manually upgraded to win10 via media creation tool. Wifi was working for 2-3 days and now its not working
