Device Manager shows two USB Controllers not working after upgrading to Windows 10 (from 8.1)
My Notebook Dell 15-5547 is in the list of machines tested for Windows 10.
"Intel(R) 8 Series USB Enhanced Host Controller #1 - 9C26"
"Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft)"
Both show a Device Status as "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
Dell Support says I have the latest Drivers for both already installed. I have tried un-installing the re-installing.
I can temporarily get around the problem (until the next re-boot) by Disabling Driver Signature Enforcement
I think I need either a way to permanently Disable Driver Signatures or correctly signed drivers. Can anyone help?
