I have an Inspiron 660 desktop with Windows 7 Home. I downloaded and installed the Win 10 upgrade and all was fine except no audio to speakers. In the process of trying to solve that problem, I came to the Dell website to see if there were new drivers for the sound card (a suggestion I found in my searching), and after clicking the button to have Dell detect my system, I got a message recommending I update my bios. I clicked the button to do that, the computer went through it's business (dialogue box onscreen describing steps completed) and then asked me to reboot. I rebooted, and for the past 4 hours have had a spinning circle of dots on a plain gray screen. I haven't touched the damned thing, on the off chance that the bios update is supposed to take several hours, but really???
