Hi,
I just bought a laptop from Dell on the 28th June on the basis that the system can be upgraded to Windows 10. When I tried to do this I had all kinds of problems. I requested that Dell install window 10.
Dell tech support sent me this email
"As per my manager the depot will not upgrade your system back to Windows 10 because they can only install its original operating system which is windows 8.1. I am really sorry for giving you the wrong advice but do not worry if you have time I will be the one who will upgrade your system to windows 10 but I am not sure if this won't affect your hardware. But I will try my best to fix your system without any issues on the hardware."
The Dell website confirms my laptop is able to upgrade

I spent all day yesterday trying to get this sorted. The laptop I have been sold is not fit for purpose based on the comments above. As such I would like my money back, but am having no success from Dell.
Very very disappointed. Any thoughts?
