I upgraded to Windows 10 on my laptop and then had hard disk and some other nuisances. Then I belatedly learned my model was not tested by Dell for the upgrade, so I reverted to Windows 7. Now that version won't get updates.
I put Windows 10 on my Inspiron desktop and put in the anniversary upgrade last week. Now I find belatedly that my model just 2-3 years old has not been tested by Dell for the anniversary update. So should I now uninstall that update, which I apparently only have 10 days to do?
I'm very unhappy about this. Dell surely could have been more proactive about telling owners of these caveats instead of burying them in forums.
