The XPS 15 (9550) seemed like a wonderful computer. But after a month, is started crashing frequently. Dell service diagnosed it and had me send it back for repair. They changed the SSD. When I got the computer back, 1) Windows 10 was NOT ACTIVATED, and the technicians wasted many hours of my time trying to figure out how to activate it; 2) within several hours, I started experiencing crashes again.
They had me send it back again. Eventually, it was returned to me with new memory & MB. But WIN10 was NOT ACTIVATED. I spent well over an hour with support again, while they tried to figure out how to activate it.
Today, I am already on the phone for an hour, and the tech is running diagnostics all over again, and keeps on ignoring my complaint: Windows is NOT ACTIVATED.
The most frustrating aspect of this is that this is mess of Dell's own creation!!! How can you install a new OS after changing the SSD without activating it????
I am a long time Dell customer - nearly since the company's foundation - and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I cannot any longer recommend Dell without reservations as I used to.

Dell support is abysmal - causes more problems than it solves.
