Inspiron One 2330, Dual Core i7-3770S 3.10GHz/3.10Ghz, 8 GB RAM
Computer worked flawlessly/without issue prior to what I'll describe here.
Have installed Win 10 under a number of scenarios, including a complete format of the hard drive. In all cases, I get a persistent INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR (even *during* a completely clean, freshly formatted Win 10 install booted off of a USB). Formatted again, installed Win 8 and the computer again worked flawlessly. Upgraded to 8.1 and then 8.1 Pro, computer worked flawlessly. Have tried multiple iterations of 64-bit (where I started originally) and 32-bit.
The installation recovery within Win 10 means that I have been able to get Win 10 installed and activated, but not without the BSOD -- sometimes within a minute after logging in, while other times, the computer will run for several minutes. Same details for each BSOD:
0x000000a0 (0x00000608, 0x949df898, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
I've followed every bit of advice I've been able to find online -- setting the hibernation file to 100 percent, turning off hibernation, disabling the AMD and INTEL graphics drivers, disabling and then installing the new AMD drivers from their Web site, etc. etc. etc. Given that the computer works without issue in Win 8 and Win 8.1, I'm left to suspect this is a hardware issue (as opposed to an issue with Win 10), especially in light of the number of people who said an update to their AMD graphics driver solved the problem
When I disable both the newly updated AMD graphics driver (AMD Radeon 7600A Series) and the Intel graphics driver (Intel HD Graphics 4000), the system appears to stabilize -- at least for the last 20 minutes. Note the 32-bit install is stable.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
