I just bought a new Precision 3620 that came with Windows 7 and also the Windows 10 pro install DVD. I have it all setup with 7, but i wanted to test out 10 on a separate HD. Im using a brand new drive here and i use UEFI boot to the DVD and i get tot he part where it says reset, troubleshoot, or turn off. So i choose to reset and it says the disc is missing a needed partition. So then i go in to troubleshoot and i select recover from disc and it looks like it loads until it gets to like 89% and it scans all the drives associated with my card reader and it fails to find an image. Then it restarts and then it goes back into the menu where you select reset, troubleshoot or turn off.
Do these disks actually work or do i have to install 7 and then upgrade? Not sure if i am doing something wrong here, but any help is appreciated.
